![]() From the annual wreath-laying at the Mother Jones marker to a May Day march and two labor film screenings, hundreds of area labor activists and their supporters celebrated May Day yesterday. Montgomery County declared the day LaborFest Day in a proclamation delivered by County Councilman Tom Hucker at the Mother Jones ceremony in Silver Spring. "We're fighting corporate greed and we'll be out there as long as it takes," declared CWA 2336 president Terry Richardson at the May Day rally in Malcolm X Park.
