![]() DC workers are invited to participate in a series of engaging and entertaining writing workshops with award-winning writer Mark Nowak. "You have a story to tell; we want to hear it!" says Nowak. Participants will meet on April 16 -- click here to sign up -- to write their first short pieces and share these with the public in a reading later that morning. A follow-up workshop and reading will held in May as part of this year’s DC LaborFest. For more than a decade, Nowak has been running creative writing workshops with workers centers and trade unions, helping workers put their stories to paper. FREE, but participants must be members of a DC-area union; click here to RSVP. photo: Mark Nowak’s Domestic Workers United Workshop in New York City Comments are closed.
