 After months of “long, difficult negotiations, full of tough decisions,” UFCW Local 400 announced that it has reached a tentative agreement at Lipton that negotiators are unanimously recommending for ratification. Contract ratification votes are scheduled for July 23 and 24. In other Local 400 news, the local has extended its contract with Shoppers through August 31, with negotiations scheduled to continue on July 17. “We will not be rushed into a bad deal,” said Local 400.
