 UFCW Local 400 and the Metro Washington Council have once again won awards for their publications. Local 400 snagged a total of seven awards in the International Labor Communications Association's annual Labor Media Awards, including first place in the Best News Story category. The Metro Washington Council's daily Union City newsletter won second place in the General Excellence/Blog category, the seventh time Union City has been recognized.
