“Great edition today and love the quote from Tom Seaver BUT you should have identified him as the superstar pitcher for the NY Mets, not the Reds,” writes Patty Snee. “Most of his pitching career and his greatest achievements were as a Met--he's depicted in a Mets uniform in Cooperstown.”
Seaver did pitch the majority of his career with the Mets, but at the time of the quote during the '81 strike he was pitching for the Reds.
