This is Chris Garlock, with Union City Radio’s Your Rights at Work tip of the day:
D.C. workers have the right to work free from discrimination. In D.C., your employer may not discriminate against you based on your race, color, national origin, sex, pregnancy, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, marital status, family responsibilities, personal appearance, political affiliation, genetic information, or because you are enrolled in school. Find out more about your rights at work from the Employment Justice Center, at DCEJC.ORG or call 202-828-9675.
