![]() Workers at TW Perry struck the local contractor supply dealer early Tuesday morning. The walk-out has been brewing for months as workers grew increasingly frustrated with “the company’s failure to bargain in good faith,” according to Teamsters 639 Business Agent Bill Davis. “Perry has failed to show up at bargaining sessions, stalled and made completely unreasonable demands,” said Davis. A walkout last October was averted at the request of the mediator (Teamsters at TW Perry Ready to Walk 10/30/2014), but when Perry moved to impose a contract last month the workers decided to strike. “We’ll be out there as long as it takes to get a fair contract,” Davis promised. photo by Randy Roberts Comments are closed.
